Sunya Giri Orphanage is dedicated to provide opportunities for underprivileged children to pursue their education and to have success in their future life.
As the rising of education cost, many children are not able to attend school. A good number of them may be talented and intelligent but because of short of financial support, they cannot widen their skills through education.
Sunya Giri Orphanage purposes to provide the basic necessities and a quality education by affording financial support to put the underprivileged children through schools and ensure them complete their education. At the end, the main goal is improve their life chances and encourage them to stand on their own.
Sunya Giri Orphanage is located in Denpasar Bali, currently supporting 20 children, 11 to 21 years old from needy family. They are ranging from elementary to senior schools and come from various background and places in Bali: Denpasar, Tabanan, Gianyar and some from East Java and Buru Island. The children at the orphanage are not always orphans but mostly they are social orphans (with at least one living parent) and come from poor family.
Sunya Giri Orphanage believes that education and practical skills should improve the children’s knowledge and abilities to think, to do and to manage attitude. By having excellent characters, manner and skills, they will be socially accepted and adjusted.
